PEFC “Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification Schemes” is a transparent and independent monitoring system for sustainable, and therefore ideal, forest management. Any forest owner can participate in this voluntarily.

In addition PEFC provides systematic documented evidence for establishing the origin of a product: from certified woodlands, to close scrutiny and transparency of manufacture, and finally the end product.
