Hartung has completed the switch to 100% green electricity. From now on we are sourcing electricity exclusively via KlimaINVEST, contributing to the reduction of the greenhouse effect and furthering the development of renewable sources of energy.

In co-operation with KlimaInvest we aim to increase the proportion of renewable energy sources within the total electricity mix. We will achieve this by exclusively targeting the consumption of carbon-neutral green energy. The electricity providers are obliged to meet the demand for green electricity by providing CO2-neutral energy sources. The proportion of green electricity within the total volume of the electricity supply is increasing, and the development of hydropower, wind energy and solar-power technology is being stepped up to meet the additional demand.

Therefore, our decision in favour of green electricity will lead to a permanent change in the way electricity is generated in favour of sustainable, carbon-neutral energy production. This is our active contribution to the reduction of the greenhouse effect and the prevention of catastrophic climate change.
